Fiona Lowry is a multi award-winning artist who is best known for being awarded the 2014 Archibald prize for her painting of Penelope Seidler.
Her contemporary portraiture and landscape paintings have been exhibited widely in Sydney in both group and solo exhibitions since 2001. In 2008, she gained recognition for winning the Moran Portrait Prize and in 2013, she won the Fleurieu Landscape Prize.
Her work is held in a number of public collections including the Museum of Contemporary Art, the National Portrait Gallery, Artbank, the University of Queensland Art Museum and the Macquarie Bank Collection.
Fiona Lowry currently lives and works in Sydney.
